Our Story
30+ years of honest, owner-operated septic service in Cumberland County, North Carolina.
Our History
Clinton Road Septic Tank Company has been serving homeowners and businesses across Cumberland County and surrounding areas of North Carolina for over 30 years. What started as a one-man operation built on honest work and fair prices is still exactly that — a one-man operation built on honest work and fair prices.
In three decades of business, we haven't grown by cutting corners or chasing the highest volume. We've grown because the people who use us tell their neighbors about us. That's the kind of reputation that takes decades to earn and a single bad job to lose — and we're not willing to risk it.
When you call Clinton Road Septic, you're not getting a franchised crew following a script. You're getting the owner, who's been doing this his entire career, showing up personally to take care of your property.
Do the job right — not just what gets you paid and out the door.
Be honest with customers — tell them what they need to know, not what's easiest to say.
Show up as promised — on time, with the right equipment, ready to work.
Stand behind the work — if something isn't right, we make it right.
Since Day One
Owner Operated
There's a meaningful difference between hiring a company and hiring a person. At Clinton Road Septic, you're hiring the person. The owner takes every call, shows up to every job, and personally performs or directly oversees every service.
This means when you have a question, you ask the most experienced person in the company. When something goes wrong, the person who can fix it is right there. And when the job is done, you know exactly who did it and what was done.
That level of accountability is rare in this industry. It's something we've never walked away from.
A septic tank is divided into two compartments. The first chamber receives all the waste from your home. Heavy solids sink to the bottom, lighter materials float to the top, and partially treated liquid flows into the second chamber before reaching the drain field.
Over time, both chambers accumulate solids. Most septic companies only pump the first chamber. They hook up to the main access, pull out what's there, and call it done. It's faster, it's cheaper for them, and the customer has no way to know the difference.
We've spent 30 years watching what happens to systems that are only half-cleaned. The secondary chamber builds up, solids overflow into the drain field, and eventually the whole system fails — requiring a full replacement that can cost $8,000–$20,000 or more.
Where raw waste enters and heavy solids settle. Most companies stop here. We don't.
Where overflow accumulates before reaching the drain field. Ignored by most. Cleaned by us, always.
We clean both chambers on every single service. It's our standard, not an add-on.
At Clinton Road Septic, cleaning both sides isn't a premium service or an upgrade — it's just how we do the job. It's how it should always be done.
